The Symposium on "Celebrating the 90th Birthday of Xidian and Talking about China's Chip Development" was held in Beijing on October 16, 2021. The symposium was co-hosted by Xidian Beijing Alumni Association and Xidian Microelectronics Industry Alumni Association. Academician Hao Yue and Yang Yintang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the university, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Zhao Yong, the former general manager of BHDC, and He Jiang, the deputy general manager of BHDC, were invited to attend the meeting.
Academician Hao Yue proposed that the construction of Xidian IC industry-education integration innovation platform is an important grip for our university to serve the national economy and social development, a useful exploration to deepen the integration of industry-education, and an important way to realize the connotation development of the construction of "double first-class" universities.
The seminar held a signing ceremony for enterprises cooperating with industry and education, and BHDC was the first batch of enterprises to sign. The cooperation framework mainly includes innovation platform cooperation, joint project declaration, providing on-the-job training bases for enterprises, recommending interns and graduates for employment, etc.
